The Package Includes

1 x BakeRolls Cannoli Set (Set of 10)

    Ingredients for the dough rolls:

    • 250 g flour
    • 30 g sugar
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 pinch salt
    • 30 g butter (cold, in pieces)
    • 1 egg
    • 2 fl oz (60 ml) white wine or water
    • Oil for frying

    For the filling:

    • 250 g ricotta
    • 80 g powdered sugar
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • Optional: chocolate chips, lemon zest, chopped pistachios

    Preparation:

    1. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Work in butter, then add egg and wine/water. Knead into a smooth dough.
    2. Let dough rest for 30 minutes, then roll out thinly and cut into circles.
    3. Wrap each dough circle around a BakeRolls™ form piece and seal well.
    4. Fry in hot oil until golden brown, drain and carefully remove from the form.
    5. For filling, stir ricotta with powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy. Enhance as desired.
    6. Pipe the filling into the cooled cannoli shells.
    7. Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately. Buon appetito!

    Tip: For extra crunch, dip the ends in melted chocolate!
